Surgery: Knee Replacement
Like many others, who have never travelled to a foreign country before- the thought of having my surgery abroad is very daunting. I am a handy man without a good insurance. I have talked to my family doctor and he admitted that the surgeons and facilities in the JCI accredited hospitals are very good based on his experience. I have called around a few companies and have finally found World Medical and Surgical.
I was impressed by the fact that this company is owned and operated by American health care professionals. So, I made my first move by contacting them. They have promptly returned my call and answered all my questions. I was a little hesitant to begin with. Bob has taken time to answer all my questions and helped me to make the right decision. He got the quote from different hospitals and compared the surgeons profile and allowed me to make the right choice. I was very impressed by his willingness to help.
I was received at the airport in India and was escorted to the hospital. The hospital blew me away. It was above and beyond my expectations. Everything went very smoothly from there on. The surgeon answered all my questions and was very accessible. He even gave his cell phone # to me. The service in the hospital was excellent. The staff was there in seconds- not minutes. Everybody spoke English.of course with some Indian accent. Funny... I have actually started liking it. The food was awesome.
Bob was constantly monitoring my progress. The surgeon ensured that I have received the right physical therapy and made sure that I am fit to travel.
In summary, this experience turned me from a skeptic to a believer. I highly recommend World Medical and Surgical LLC to anyone considering medical tourism and would not hesitate to use them again.

Surgery: Gastric By pass
I was morbidly obese for most of my life and needed this life changing surgery. I don’t have good insurance and could not afford the surgery here in States. I could not even get a proper quote. The best response I got was that “It could be anywhere between $35K -$50K” I don’t have that kind of money and was desperate for help. One of my friends helped me to find the option of medical tourism. I have started browsing and calling around and stumbled up on the World Medical and Surgical.Com.
I have sent an e mail to them and everything is a breeze. I can’t believe how smoothly everything went. Bob helped me with every step. The hospital, surgeon and staff are great and I would rate them better than a typical hospital in America. All this for just $ 13,500 (including airfare and motel)
The food is just great... Too bad I had the gastric bypass. Bob even visited me after my return. My experience is very positive with World Medical and Surgical and this company would be my first choice for my future expensive medical and surgical needs.

Surgery: Spinal fusion with instrumentation
I know that I need the surgery I could not afford. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life on Oxycontin’s. I have considered surgery abroad, but very concerned about the quality of doctors and hospitals. I did my research and I liked what I saw at worldmedicalandsurgical.com. ” They are run by American health care Pro’s and only deal with JCI certified hospitals.” It sounded too good to be true. But, I wanted to find out. These people really know what they are doing. They did hook me up with one of the best surgeons and hospital. Everything went exactly as planned. (Even my surgery!!) The facilities out there are first class and I am pain free today.
Thank you World Medical and Surgical for an outstanding job. You have earned my trust.

Patient:Nikeisha J, Newyork, NY, USA
Surgery: Heart Bypass ( CABG)
I was initially scared to have my heart operated in India. I could not simply understand why so many people go there. I have asked Bob at World Medical and Surgical so many questions. I was surprised to learn that my surgeon was one of the elite groups of surgeons in the world. My experience in India is wonderful. I was received at airport and taken to the hospital. People are very respectful and speak quality English unlike many other foreign countries. The hospital reminded me of a five star hotel- not the hospital I came to expect. The facilities are top notch. The surgeon has great bed side manners and very professional. The service of the auxiliary staff is nothing less than outstanding. I was treated like a queen with the same quality of surgery. The people are too willing to please me. They made sure I was ready to go back. The food was excellent and the culture and respect they show is great. I really did not want to come back.
Bob kept close tabs on my entire stay. He has helped me to make the right decision to get the same quality care and to avoid bankruptcy. Thank you so much World Medical and Surgical... You rock!
